1. Scope of the service
Solo.uy is software for organizing the activity of independent workers and small businesses in Uruguay. It can store business, customer, sales and expense information; prepare and issue CFE when electronic invoicing is enabled; and prepare calculations, calendars and information related to DGI, BPS and Fonasa based on the configured data.
Solo.uy is not DGI, BPS or another public authority and does not represent the user before those authorities unless a future function expressly says so. At present Solo.uy does not file tax returns with DGI/BPS on the user's behalf: it prepares information for the user to make the required filings and payments.
2. Tax information and decisions
Calculations and classifications depend on the information entered, regime configuration and rules available in the platform. You must provide complete, truthful and current information and review warnings indicating that a situation needs confirmation or further analysis.
Solo.uy helps apply rules and organize information, but it does not replace individual accounting, tax or legal advice where a case requires it. Responsibility for filings, payments and decisions made from incomplete or incorrect information remains with the taxpayer, subject to responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
3. CFE and external providers
Electronic issuance may depend on a connected technology provider and DGI systems. A document should only be treated as issued or accepted when the platform displays the corresponding status received from the issuance process. Rejections, outages or external validations may prevent or delay issuance.
4. Account and security
You are responsible for access to your email and account, for people you invite to your businesses, and for keeping contact information current. If you suspect unauthorized access, email hola@solo.uy. We may temporarily limit actions when necessary to protect an account, data or service integrity.
5. Plans, limits and payments
Solo.uy may offer free and paid plans with different limits for businesses, users, CFE or other functions. Current prices and limits are displayed on the pricing page or in the account. Internal technical grace does not change the published commercial limit.
Upgrades may take effect immediately and downgrades at the end of the current service period, as shown when the change is requested. Until an automatic payment operator is available, Solo.uy may provide payment instructions and manually confirm receipt. Activating a paid Solo.uy plan is not a payment to DGI, BPS or another third party.
6. Cancellation and retention
You may request subscription cancellation or account assistance at hola@solo.uy. Cancelling a paid plan does not necessarily mean immediate deletion of the account or records that must be retained for legal, security, audit, invoicing or rights-protection reasons. Personal-data requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, infrastructure failures or external-provider outages may occur. We may modify functions to correct errors, respond to regulatory changes, improve security or evolve the product.
8. Permitted use
You may not use Solo.uy to issue false documentation, access other people's data without authorization, interfere with service security or availability, abusively evade limits, or conduct unlawful activity. We may suspend access when there is a reasonable risk to users, third parties or the platform.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solo.uy is not liable for indirect losses caused by interruptions, incorrect data supplied by the user, decisions made while ignoring platform warnings, or failures of external services outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms when the service or applicable rules change. We will show the update date and communicate material changes by reasonable means where appropriate. Questions about these terms: hola@solo.uy.
